This unit is the original model, very similar to:

The difference is that the model shown in the above web has copper surface but both are made from aluminum (the manufacturer’s website describes that the “Copper” model is actually made from aluminum, but only in Japanese language). The thing is that this box allows the HDDs to run cooler than when the box isn’t used.
